At the end of 2012 HSK Sähkö Ltd and Elenia Verkko Ltd signed the framework agreement on the subterranean cabling of electricity network. The weatherproof network building will start in 2013 and it lasts three years, plus two option years. The framework agreement includes the area from Kannonkoski to Hailuoto. The contract’s employment effect is about 190 man years.

The agreement expands HSK’s operation in electricity network building and it also increases a geographical scope in Northern and Central Finland. The managing director Hannu Kauppi states that the agreement is continuing the strong growth of other branches of the company too.
