HSK Sähkö Ltd is also involved to contract of Siemens in Hanhikivi 1 nuclear power plant. The contract of Siemens includes the site’s electrification and also building and commissioning the substations.

The substation’s installation work and commissioning were done by HSK’s professional staff. Electricity to the first substation was energized at the end of April 2015. There is also another substation included to contract.
